Students of every ability level attend Brain Camp.
Brain Camp has helped thousands of young people become stronger students. In 2010, teens from over 70 Puget Sound middle and high schools attended Brain Camps in the Seattle area.
Who we serve: 7th – 12th Graders
-
Middle-schoolers: getting their first taste of grades, assignment deadlines and independent learning.
- High school freshmen and sophomores: with challenging classes, teachers with high expectations and heavy extra-curricular timetables to juggle.
- Juniors and seniors: with their eyes on college admissions, under pressure to test well and achieve good grades.
- College-bound grads: who find the skills they develop at Brain Camp highly valuable during their college years.
Secondary teachers typically do not have the time or resources to dedicate to kids individually, and have to adopt a teaching style of that addresses the class as a whole.
Many students get frustrated with the traditional structure of school, find they do
not fit the mold for one reason or another – and they tune out and turn off their
interest in learning.
At Brain Camp, we help students find practical solutions to effectively manage their learning challenges. Classes are kept small, so that the instructors can focus time and attention on each participant's needs.
Armed with powerful new skills, Brain Camp students don’t just do better academically...they feel more confident, motivated and engaged in school.
